It’s our first Teacher Tuesday here at CHS and our first teacher being highlighted is Ms. Quiring.
Ms. Quiring is one of the many teachers in the English department. She has freshman and junior English classes. She graduated from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, and this is her second year teaching at CHS.
When asked what her favorite part about teaching is, she answered, “My favorite academic part of teaching is reading with the students. My favorite non-academic part is getting to know the students and hearing all the funny things they say.”
Some fun facts about Ms. Quiring are that she likes her coffee black, she has two cats, her birthday is in October and her favorite holiday is Halloween. She also states that she is currently working on her master’s in English through UNK, and loves playing video games and watching scary movies.
