It’s that time of year again! CHS theatre performed the musical The Addams Family November 3 and 4.
Director of the show, Ms. Parker, when talking about the plot, says, “The musical starts out with all the Addams ancestors meeting at a yearly dance in their cemetery. The audience then finds out that Wednesday is in love with a very normal boy, which could cause trouble in the family. Fester enlists the help of the Addams ancestors to make sure that love triumphs.”
The cast all worked very hard together to make this show what it was. They’ve spent so many long nights working through scenes and on choreo and Ms. Parker stated that she was very excited for people to be able to see that.
With former Technical Director Mr. McDonald being gone, Ms. Parker was been left with a lot more work and stress. She said one of their setbacks with this show has been not having a separate teacher in charge of the technical side of things. However, Parker has found some relief with the help of Ms. Zaidya Hirschmann as Music Director, and CHS alum Reagan Gausman as Assistant Director.
The shows were on Friday, November 3, at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 4, at 2:00 and 7:00 PM. The cast was thrilled to see so many of you there!
