2024 senior Preston Hastreiter is a very involved student who has a good outlook on his school years. Hastreiter is involved in the National Honors Society, God Teens, VolunTeens, C-Club, HOSA, CHS Basketball, CHS Baseball, and the Nebraska Prospects Baseball Club. His plans for right after high school are to go to Northeast Community College to study pre-medicine while playing on their baseball team. He plans to become an orthopedic surgeon. “My advice for underclassmen is to not take these four years for granted. You will meet wonderful people and continue to make connections with them throughout your life. It goes by fast, so enjoy it!” he says.
