Though many teachers have taught in their chosen fields for years, we asked several teachers what other fields they would have gone into. Here are the results: Mr. McGill said music, Mrs. Kwapnioski said she would go back to teaching Spanish, and Mr. Bethune said that he would teach fitness.

Mr. Fowler said that he would only teach Social Studies. Both Mr. Thompson and Mrs. Nelson said Family and Consumer Sciences. Mrs. Biggs, Mrs. Campbell, and Mr. Dishman all said English.

There was a three-way tie with Social Studies, Science, and Math. Mrs. Perigo, Mr. Klaumann, Ms. Czarnick and Mrs. McDonald said Social Studies. Mr. Sander, Mrs. Field, Mrs. Kallweit, and Ms. May said science. Ms. Meyer, Mr. Wayman, Mrs. Tilley, and Mr. Schroeder all said math. 

I thought that McGill would say math and Wayman would say English. I also thought that May would say Social Studies. What other responses surprised you?
