The first Teacher Tuesday of the 24-25 school year highlights Mr. Johnny Beltran!
Mr. Beltran is the new tenth grade counselor and it is his seventh year working in schools. Before coming to CHS, he was a counselor at Crete High School and he helped assist the boys soccer team. According to Mr. Beltran, his favorite part about being a school counselor is “being able to make connections that last a lifetime and seeing students pursue their goals.”
Mr. Beltran grew up in Crete, Nebraska, graduated from Crete High School and attended CCC for two years before transferring to Doane to get his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. He has three boys with his wife, Stefanie, and a miniature golden doodle named Benji. He and his family love to go on family trips. Mr. Beltran loves to play soccer and still plays to this day, but the key to his heart is food.
