
This week’s Teacher Tuesday highlight is Ms. Alexandria Gragg.
Ms. Gragg is the new English teacher and this year is her first year teaching full-time. She teaches English 9, 10 General and 11 Honors. Before coming to CHS, Ms. Gragg was a substitute teacher at Boone Central Public Schools. Her favorite part about being a teacher is being able to share insight and help the students make deeper connections to the stories they read and building connections with her students. She also stated that she, “strives to be a positive influence on students.”
Ms. Gragg grew up and graduated in Central City, Nebraska. After graduating high school, she went to Southeast Community College where she got her AA and then transferred to Chadron State College where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Ms. Gragg has a pet corn snake named Velveteen and she’s scaleless.
