“If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.” – Cinderella
Over the last few weeks, students have attended audition prep courses, poured over the scripts, practiced with their friends, and attended the auditions that took place last Wednesday. The results are in! I met with a few of the cast members after the audition results were posted and here’s what they had to say.
Question: What is your favorite part about being in the ensemble?
Reece Vasina’s Response: I would say my favorite part about being in the ensemble is getting to build relationships with other castmates. Being in ensemble means you aren’t in every scene, so you are going to be able to work on the scenes that you are in, which helps make the show EVEN BETTER! Having good relationships with castmates helps the chemistry between characters in the show, making the show the best it can be!!
Question: Are you excited to play the role of Cinderella? Do you have any nerves going in?
Aliya Nichols’ Response: I am very excited to play Cinderella. This is an amazing opportunity, and I am very thrilled to be a part of it. And, I am a little nervous! I think that it is such a big role, but I know in the end it will be ok!
Question: How do you feel about the character you play this year?
Bronwyn Prokopec’s Response: I am so hyped to be a stepsister! I didn’t realize how fun it would be to act dumb as a board, having an obnoxious laugh, and just being a jerk to Cinderella and the other characters. I feel like it’s going to be really fun!
Mark your calendars now to come watch Cinderella on November 8 @ 7pm and November 9 @ 2pm and 7pm. It may be a while away, but you do NOT want to miss this incredible cast!
