As Halloween approaches, so do the scary movie marathons! CHS students are really into scary movies and everyone has their favorite. Here are a handful of students’ favorite scary movies.
The top movie the freshman class likes is The Conjuring. Carter Booze says The Conjuring is his favorite horror movie and he says, “The Conjuring is very scary and exciting. It also has a good storyline.”
Sophomores top movie is Friday the 13th. “Because I’ve seen it a few times and grown to like it,” says sophomore Jacob Staub when asked why Friday the 13th is his favorite horror movie.
Final Destination is the top movie for the juniors. “Because the deaths could happen like they’re the most likely to happen out of all the other scary movies,” says Naomi Weverka.
Finally, for the seniors, The Conjuring is the top movie. Elizabeth Wemhoff confesses, “I cried when I watched it, it was that scary.”
These are the movies that the students at CHS are watching when the spooky season rolls around. Grab some popcorn, get a blanket, and turn on your favorite horror movie to get into the Halloween spirit!
