The golf season is what Ms. Robertson, the girls golf coach, likes to call “The Fast and the Furious” with just eight weeks of practice and competitions. With these competitions, the varsity and jv are missing full days of school.
One goal for the season was getting 1% better every day as a team. Robertson believes that all players have improved throughout the quick season.
The season as a whole is going well as they have finished in the top half of the teams at a majority of the invites. Districts went very well with the team finishing runner-up in the A-1 district. Also, Molly Goc finished 5th and Abby Jensen finished 10th, earning themselves district medals.
Goc has been a consistent team member medaling in every invite. Also the seniors, Jersey Odgaard and Ivy Divis, have shown some consistent improvements throughout the season. Even some newcomers to varsity this year, including Abby Jensen, Emily Mowrey, and Emma O’Kane, have improved all along.
Robertson in the end says, “[I] appreciate the time and efforts all 10 players gave to the 2024 girls golf season.”
