As fall is in full swing, the Broken Mug fall menu is coming back. The CHS Newspaper and Yearbook staffs sampled the menu to give you this honest review.
Nutella Mocha- This drink is a mocha with hazelnut flavors. “I had the Nutella Mocha and I thought it was a very good drink, the coffee was not very overpowering of the drink, the flavor was a little much on the chocolate but overall very good,” says Yearbook staffer Tessa Haiar.
Pecan Pie Latte- The Broken Mug says, “This drink tastes as it sounds, delicious!” A staff of the Yearbook, Vianney Duarte, says, “The perfect mix of coffee and sweetness and doesn’t feel heavy after drinking.”
Cinderella- The way this drink is described is an iced white mocha with pumpkin cold foam and caramel drizzle. “I liked the taste of pumpkin that the drink had. It is a good choice if you don’t like a strong coffee taste,” says Yearbook staffer, Melani Arriaza.
Toasted White Mocha- The Mug describes this drink as a toasted marshmallow white mocha. Member of the Newspaper, Lexi Urkoski, says, “The toasted white mocha is a very simple drink but it’s delicious and perfect for those who like a more simple coffee. It tastes similar to a white chocolate mocha.”
Apple Jacks Redbull Spritzer- This drink is apple cider and a regular Redbull. Staff of the Newspaper, Hazel Coufal, says, “I like the carbonation of the Redbull and the taste of apple cider.”
Pumpkin Patch- This drink is a pumpkin matcha latte. “I like the light pumpkin taste in the drink, overall it’s a really good drink along with refreshing. I recommend!” says Izalla Ibarra of the Yearbook.
Caramel Pumpkin Chai- The way this drink is described is a chai latte with pumpkin and caramel swirls. Kammie Gennrich, member of the Yearbook, says, “Carmel Pumpkin chai is a good fall flavor it has a good pumpkin flavor and you can still taste the chai in the drink. Overall it is a very good drink and I would recommend it if you like pumpkin and chai drinks.”
Spiced Cinnamon Dolce Latte- This drink is described as a latte with cinnamon and spices. My review is, “This drink is very cozy and I love the hint of cinnamon!”
Apple Berry Freeze- The Mug describes this drink as a perfect blend of apple cider and strawberry. “The Apple Berry Freeze was the BEST! The fruitiness was perfect!” says Savannah Klee, member of the Newspaper.
Snow White- This drink is described as an apple white mocha with brown sugar and spices. “I liked the beginning flavor of the Snow White drink since it was just a mild coffee flavor but there’s an aftertaste of apple that I think kind of offsets it” said Yearbook staffer Maddie Retzlaff.
A big thank you goes out to The Broken Mug for providing the samples!
