With the end of the semester approaching, stress levels are high. Staying informed about mental health issues can often be a challenge, especially with the internet and its many questionably credible sources. Here’s some advice for staying informed.
Use sources you know are credible; traditional media like newspapers and live TV broadcasts can help with this.
Find a political bias chart for your news sources.
Avoid sources with inflammatory language.
Take a break (get off the internet) afterwards, and interact with your community.
Find some positive news in your community as well as standard broadcast news.
Set limits on how much time you spend per day looking at the news.
