This week, CHS is to perform Midsummer Jersey. According to a few of the cast members, the show is “your typical high school drama but with magic flowers and fairies” as well as “amazingly funny and extremely witty.”
“There is a LOT going on in this show. A girl wants to get married, but her ex-boyfriend wants to stop it. Her best friend is in love with her ex-boyfriend, and it gets very complicated, especially once the fairies stick their noses in the mix. Shakespeare meets Jersey Shore – what more could you ask for?” states Director Chelsea Parker.
When asked who their favorite character is, majority of the cast responded with Puck. Puck, or Robin Goodfellow, is one of the many fairies in the show. Puck is played by junior Bronwyn Prokopec and is the comedic relief in this play.
The cast has worked extremely hard on this production and would love to see you there supporting them. Performances are Friday, March 7, at 7 PM and Saturday, March 8, at 2 PM and 7 PM. C-Stamps will get you in for free.
