The students of Columbus High School can see the end of the 2024/25 school year, and spring is rolling in. With spring comes all the fun activities such as mowing, Easter fun, walks and much more! Here is what your fellow classmates are looking forward to this spring!
Freshman Abby Jensen says her favorite spring activity is making and hiding Easter eggs. “It is cool to see the little kids run around and get all excited about little colorful eggs,” Jensen says.
“It is low effort, but it is fun,” is what Dylan Urkoski says about his favorite spring activity. Urkoski enjoys hitting the court and playing some pickleball with his friends.
Melissa Gomez, junior, says that she enjoys a nice day outside. “Whether I have a track meet or a day with friends, I love to enjoy the bipolar spring weather that brings rain and sun.”
And finally, senior Jon Granados enjoys looking for the Easter bunny and its eggs. “Ever since I was a little boy, I have been motivated to catch him,” Granados says.
CHS Anchor News hopes everyone has a great spring with all the fun activities, and if you are looking for the Easter bunny like Jonathan Granados is, I have news that he might be in town next weekend!
