Hello there!
I’m Reece Vasina, and I’m new to the AnchorNews staff for 2025-26. I’m so excited to be here and write new articles and content for Columbus High’s newspaper.
For those who don’t really know a lot about me, I’ll let you know a little bit. I’m heavily involved in many activities around our school, such as theatre, Student Council, NHS, and Key Club. I was also the junior class treasurer last year. Outside of school, I’m involved in Revolution with the Center for Survivors and the Legacy Youth Foundation.
In my personal time, I have a few hobbies. I like to play Roblox (especially Welcome to Bloxburg) and The Sims; I’m going to school for architecture, so I think we can tell where that came from. I also enjoy reading books; one of my favorites is The Road, which we read in English 11 Honors. When I’m doing anything, I love listening to music.
