Fuentes-Cabrera is a freshman, and her favorite breakfast option is pancakes with syrup with strawberries on top. Every day, she has to be at school before 6:45 am for marching band rehearsal. She is in color guard, so every Tuesday and Thursday after school, she also has color guard practice.
After morning rehearsal, she gets prepared for school, and she might get breakfast or redo her hair before going to her first period class, which is algebra. She said her favorite class is English with Mr. Dizon.
After school, if it is a day when she has color guard practice, she will go and practice until 5:45 pm. When she gets home, she finishes any homework she might have, and she also takes care of her little sister. Depending on which day it is, she volunteers at the hospital and helps patients.
Fuentes-Cabrera is a very involved student who loves what she does. She works hard towards her goals and accomplishes anything she puts her mind to. She is busy most of the time, but she still makes time to go on walks and practice her color guard choreography.
There you have it, a day in the life of freshman Keyrin Fuentes-Cabrera!
