On Friday, Oct. 17, our football team played against Kearney for the homecoming game. Unfortunately, we lost by a score of 0-10 with Kearney taking the win. Our football team played very well but it was not enough for us to pull off the win!
Monday, Oct. 20:
The JV football game played in Fremont at Fremont Senior High School. JV football won with a score of 35-0! JV football has been working hard this season to get to where they are today. We like to see the improvement throughout the season. Keep working hard JV football!
Tuesday, Oct. 21:
The freshman football team played at emorial Stadium against Hastings. The team won with a score of 36-20! This is very good to see for our freshman football team! Our freshmen have been working their hardest during their season.
Thursday, Oct. 23:
The varsity football team played against Millard North. Our team ended up losing, 7-21, with Millard North taking the lead. It was a great game to watch, but sadly we couldn’t come out with the win. Next Friday, the team will go play in Kearney for the first round of the playoffs. It has been such a great season for football and to see how much they have improved since their first game. We can’t wait to see how they end up doing Friday!
Friday, Oct. 24:
The cross-Country team headed to Kearney to go the state meet. Sophomore Landon Lawrence was the only person on the tean to qualify for state.Lawrence ended up placing 69th out of 94 people! That’s amazing to see!
