Camps, practices and theme days all prepared the softball team for the season. The Discoverers started the season losing a doubleheader to Lincoln North Star on Aug. 17 but closed the week finishing first at the Westview Tournament. The home opener is Aug. 31 at Bradshaw against Bellevue East at 5:00 (JV) and 6:30 (varsity).
