Tanner Esch and Kamryn Jaeger
Who were 2023’s homecoming king and queen? This year’s king and queen are football star Tanner Esch and the amazingly talented Kamryn Jaeger. While many people know both of them quite well, there might be a few things you don’t know.
Esch and Jaeger are both involved in many school-sponsored activities. Esch is involved in football, soccer, basketball, NHS, FCA and Key Club. Outside of school, Esch is also a part of Revolution. Jaeger participates in volleyball, soccer, student council, Key Club, HOSA, NHS, STRIVE and CHS101.
When these two aren’t ruling the courts and fields or taking part in all their groups, they like to spend their free time doing other things.
Esch states, “I spend most of my free time on the game, with friends or with my girlfriend.”
Similarly, Jaeger also enjoys spending her free time with her friends, boyfriend and binging Netflix.
After all the high school excitement, Esch plans to attend UNL and wants to major in electrical engineering. While all that sounds exciting and will be fun, Esch also stated that he will miss his friends and all of the sports here at CHS.
Jaeger mentioned she is undecided on a college but will most likely attend UNK or Wayne and that she plans to major in nursing. Jaeger states that although she is excited for her next steps, she will miss all of her friends and getting to see them every day.
Altogether, our homecoming king and queen were definitely spectacular picks. Both Esch and Jaeger are outstandingly talented and extremely nice people. CHS Anchor News wishes them both good luck on their next steps in life.
