Many high school students look forward to homecoming night from the beginning of the year. Here is what the 2023 CHS attendees of Homecoming thought about it.
Some favorite songs from the night were “Teach Me How To Dougie,” “Fishing in the Dark,” and anything Taylor Swift, but specifically “Bad Blood.” Obvious dance moves that were seen on the dance floor were The Dougie, Whip and Nae-Nae, Micheal Jackson Moves, Cotton-Eyed Joe, Cupid Shuffle and many, many more.
Everyone’s favorite part of the night varied. Some people liked dinner before the dance, everyone getting along on the dance floor and having fun specifically the last hour of the dance, when the DJ started playing good music! Many students expressed that if they say skip the song, they wish the DJ would skip the song.
A consensus from all the people who were interviewed said that going with a date is less fun than going with friends. They were all glad about the fact that they could freely go around the dance, talk to whomever they wanted, and not chase a date around.
All in all, the CHS Homecoming was a good time, but there were little tweaks that could have been changed according to the student population.
