This week, we are focusing on another genre: pop! Freya Skye is 16 years old, born in England on October 17, 2009. 

Skye is best known for her role as Nova in Disney’s Zombies 4, but she also has an amazing singing career, making her our artist of the week. She started her music career in 2021 by releasing her debut single “I Love the Way.” She released a new single called “Gold’s Gone” in August of this year, and before that, “Can’t Fake It” in January. These are both songs that are favorites to some fans here at CHS.

Skye first gained international attention when she represented the UK at the Junior Eurovision Contest in 2022. Two years later, she was cast and started filming Zombies 4, which gained her a lot more popularity and fans. She is now a very popular young artist with about 2.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
