As the weather turns colder and the days seem shorter, it gets harder figuring out how to spend your free time.
There are always volunteer opportunities available, especially around this time of year. If you’re in the mood to help those around you while being active, you could rake your neighbor’s yards. If you’re not feeling social and would rather stay warm, you could donate to local food pantries for the holiday season or go through your closets and donate clothes you don’t wear anymore.
If you don’t want to volunteer, there are still plenty of options. For example, take a nice fall walk in the park admiring the changing colors around or maybe go on a picnic. For both, you’ll want to be dressed in warm, comfortable clothes, of course. There is also always the option of a self-care day. Take a nice warm bubble bath or shower and put on your favorite pair of pajamas, grab a fuzzy blanket and turn on your favorite movie or series. You could even make a snack of M&Ms and popcorn and some hot chocolate to add to the experience.
These are just some of the fun activities you can do this cold weather season. For more articles relating to cold weather activities, be sure to check back here and our Instagram page!
