This week’s Senior Spotlight is Brianna Jeffryes. Jeffryes is involved in the musical, the play, NHS, Key Club, Quiz Bowl, Girl Scouts, Red Cross Blood Drives, the youth Breakout program at Trinity Lutheran Church and the youth choir at Trinity Lutheran Church.
After high school, she plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study microbiology, then transfer to the University of Nebraska Medical Center to continue and complete her degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
Jeffryes favorite parts of high school are participating in theatre and challenging herself with the advanced courses CHS offers.
When asked her advice for underclassmen, she says, “Try new things. High school is a great time to explore your different interests and figure out what you love to do. Don’t be afraid to get involved! All sorts of activities — sports, music, theater, clubs, student-led organizations, volunteering, etc. — are great ways to meet new people and impact your school and community.”
