As we go into the last weekend of the school year, I think it is an amazing time to reflect on the challenges our students have overcome this year!
For me, the hardest part of the year was the ACT Test and all of our 2nd semester finals. The ACT Test is a very strenuous one and it takes a lot of concentration. I understand why it is so important, but they could have made it shorter!!! The second-semester finals have also been a struggle for me because there are just so many!!
Enough about me – here are what some other students had to say:
Reece Vasina: “The hardest part about my junior year was actually having to develop study habits due to my honors physics class. Before then, everything came easy, but physics does not”
Madelynn Klee: “The hardest part of the school year for me was adjusting to high school. This school is much bigger than the middle school, so passing periods are a lot harder now. I figured it out though so it’s a lot better now!”
Elena Moseman: “The hardest part of this year was saying goodbye to my seniors. Having my last xc season with my best friends was so sad and thinking about a new season without them is scary and sad.”
Look at all this hard work from the Discoverers! Overcoming challenges is something that is hard to do, but the reward is amazing. To keep hearing student success stories and daily affirmations, keep checking back on AnchorNews!
