KEY CLUB!! Of the many clubs CHS has, one that many people may not know much about is Key Club.
What is Key Club? Key Club is a student-led organization. The members provide different types of services for the school so they can make the school a much better environment. When joining Key Club, you can grow as individuals and as leaders as you grow up as an adult. It is also about volunteering to make the community a better place—not only the high school, but the whole town.
Key Club requires a minimum of two to three community service hours per year. They can do activities within Key Club and/or submit volunteer hours for what they’ve done in the community.
In Key Club, there is a group called the officer team. The sponsor is Ms. Albracht, the president is Lauren Wurdemen, the vice president is Gabe Sepulveda, the secretary is Reece Vasina, the treasurer/vice president is Jay Marino, and the club editor is Kristina Smith. This group of people is learning how to become leaders and improve their ability to provide services to others.
To join Key Club, go to the next meeting, which is on Oct. 10 at 7:45 in the morning or 3:45 after school.
