The teacher on Tuesday of the week is Mr. Liefeld. He is a geometry and algebra 2 teacher, and he is also a new teacher this year. I personally have him as a teacher, and he is also at the door to greet you and always has a smile on his face. He also teaches freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. 

Something that he likes about teaching is, “…enjoying being a teacher every day, where I get the opportunity to inspire the youth to be the best version of themselves.” I also asked him about why he teaches math, and he said, “I teach math because I enjoy it and see a large amount of people who don’t enjoy math because it’s confusing to them. I believe math is the foundation of everything, and if math is taught well, kids will enjoy learning about it more.” 

 He is also from Humphrey, Nebraska. This is his first year being a math teacher. Something fun to know about him: he can play the song “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen on the piano. Who knew our math teacher could also play the piano and be a mathematician?
