Girls golf heading to State

Congratuations to the girls golf team! On Monday, Oct. 6, they competed in the A6 district meet, finishing in first place as a team. They beat out Lincoln Southwest by only two points.

Molly Goc took first place as an individual, shooting 75 and finishing just one shot ahead of the second-place finisher. Four more Discoverers medaled as well: Abby Jensen (4th), Stella Sedlacek (6th), and Emily Mowrey (T 10th).

The team will head to Riverside Golf Club in Grand Island on Monday, Oct. 13, for the state meet.
