The end of the third quarter is creeping up on us, and we could not be happier! One quarter left means it’s almost time to lay on the beach and tan, go to the Pawnee Plunge, or just enjoy the warmth with your friends.
However, we are not done yet! With the end of the school year comes ACTs, finals, and extra burnout and senioritis. Don’t let these circumstances stress you out! There are many strategies around school and in your life to help cope with these stressors.
First, use the ACT Prep provided to practice. Practice creates progress, and you want to get as good of a score as possible. Next, start studying for your finals NOW. That may seem crazy, but reviewing past topics now can help you create less stress later, because you can just review your last few units closer to the test. Finally, talk to a counselor or a friend if you are having burnout or senioritis. It is almost summertime and we can push through to the end – a friend can help you do that if you just talk to them!
To help you push to the end of the school year, I will leave you with a few motivational quotes 🙂
“Victory is sweetest when you’ve known defeat.” — Malcolm Forbes
“Your education is a dress rehearsal for a life that is yours to lead.” — Nora Ephron
“The tassel will be worth the hassle…now go out there and shine!” — Unknown
“Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan.” — John F. Kennedy
