With the festive season around, it is time we talk about the lady who has finally defrosted. Mariah Carey is one of the most iconic artists around this time of year. 

Looking at Carey’s history, it is obvious why she has as much fame as she does. Following the drop of her iconic song that is a hit every Christmas season, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” she has become a sensation. With the media always making a joke that she “defrosts” at the start of November for the holiday season, it truly shows the impact her music has on the season. 

Besides that, many of her songs have also been hits, like “Obsessed,” which had its time on TikTok. Although not many people actually understand that it is written by the same artist, Carey truly has a wide discography that is not seen. It is truly impressive to see the wide range of songs she has. 

Personally, during the holiday season I do enjoy “Last Christmas” by Wham!, but to each their own. Mariah Carey is one of the hit artists during the Christmas season no matter if you agree or not.
