Christmas is just around the corner, and here are some of the best Christmas memories from some students here at CHS.
Sophomore Adelle Kinnison said hers was “…going to my cousin’s house after Christmas and doing a gift exchange where everyone had to wrap their gift as difficult as possible and try to open them.” Kinnison took two hours to get her gift open!
When asking Gennesis Diego, a junior, she replied, “My favorite Christmas memory would be when I got to spend Christmas with all of my cousins down in California; it was such a blessing to be able to have all of us under one roof.”
Senior Delaney Young said she simply loves spending time with her family during the holidays.
Eating classic Mexican dishes such as pozole and tamales is Heydi Figueroa-Ramirez’s favorite Holiday memory.
Jeily Marino replied, “…honestly, a few years ago, when we were celebrating with my grandparents before they went back to Mexico. It was like one of the last few years when, like, everyone would make time for it, and everyone was there. Very peaceful and nice, and yummy food, love love love tamales!”
