I asked the head coach Lisa Emeigh of the tennis team a couple of questions on how she is feeling coming into her first year of coaching!
I asked her what she is excited for while coaching this year. She said, “There are so many new freshmen out. It will be exciting to see the team grow.” I then asked about some team goals for the season, and Emeigh said, “Learning new skills, playing as a team, and getting stronger.”
My next question was about things she’s excited for this season. “There are new players and former players putting in extra time to be competitive this season.” Some information she would like to add is that “I have three assistant coaches who have played tennis, know tennis, and and are very knowledgeable about this sport.”
