Hello, Discoverers, welcome back for another sports recap!

Boys and girls track and field 

Last week, the track and field team went to Kearney, and let’s congratulate Michael Voichoskie on getting first in boys discus and Evvann Daniels on first in the 100-meter dash. The varsity track team will be getting ready to go up against Fremont this Friday. 

Girls soccer 

The girls soccer team played great against Lincoln South West and sadly didn’t win, but they did take the win against Northeast on Tuesday. Congratulations to the girls on their win. 

Boys soccer 

The boys soccer team played a good game against Lincoln East, but unfortunately didn’t win, and will be trying to get another win today at Grand Island. 

Baseball

Baseball played an amazing game in the HAC tournament yesterday and won against Fremont, and played against Norfolk yesterday, and  they unfortunately did win. 

Girls tennis 

Yesterday was the tennis girls’ senior night, and Ashtyn Bethune won her singles and played amazing at her last home tournament. Wish them good luck on their away tournament today
