It’s time for the season where you get to see which athletes could handle fighting your ex! The boys wrestling season is at its start with the head coach of the team being Keiswetter. I had the privilege of getting an inside look at what he expects and hopes to accomplish. 

With most of his excitement for the season is watching the group of seniors finish their final year with him. Keiswetter said, “We have a special group of seniors who have been very successful and it’s going to be fun to see them end their careers with lots of records and lots of memories that will last forever.” His main expectation is for them to build off what they did last year. 

Mason Petersen is entering his final year of wrestling under Keiswetter. Petersen is looking forward to improving his own skills over what he had learned over his summer meets. Petersen is hoping for the team to put in the hard work throughout the entire season and get into the robes again. His advice to any new wrestler is to find the mindset and discipline, claiming it is something that will always affect the match.
