Sophomore Amelie Masek is a Diamond Dancer. I had a chance to ask her about what goes on in her day on a Monday!
Masek starts her day off by waking up with her alarm around 6, but she usually sleeps in until 7. After she gets up, she does her makeup and hair then heads to her car to go to school. She usually tries to get to school early so she can drink her energy drink and car rot before school.
After school ,she goes to the gas station with her friends to get snacks and drinks before heading to the Kramer Center to go to Diamond practice. When Diamond practice is over, Masek has an hour break to go tan and to go eat again.
When her hour break ends, she makes her way to Barbs Dance Studio for her pom and acro/gymnastics class until 9:30. When she gets done with dance she goes home and takes a shower then gets ready for bed!
